Evaluation and Treatment - Abnormal Pap Smears

A PAP Smear is a small collection of cells from the cervix and is the most commonly done GYN screening test performed at an annual exam.

The frequency a PAP Smear is done will be determined by your age, previous record of normal and abnormal PAP Smears, history of HPV infection and history of hysterectomy with removal of the cervix. We evaluate your needs against the current guidelines in order to make sound medical decisions with you.

Our physicians personally review EVERY PAP Smear performed on our patients
If abnormal cells are found, you will be notified within one week with instructions as to what is needed for further evaluation.

We will work together with you, as a team, to find the most effective, comfortable solution.

If you have any further questions regarding PAP Smear results, please call us today to schedule a consultation.
